Funerals & Memorials

Funerals with care and compassion.

As a non-religious celebrant, I believe that all lives should be celebrated and recognised for their true value.  I work closely with you to create the funeral that is most appropriate for the person who has died, either following their pre-planned wishes or designing a ceremony that reflects what you believe is most important.

Funeral ceremonies can be short but that doesn’t mean they cannot be meaningful and memorable or feel rushed.  Your choices over music, readings and the possible participation of family and friends will help me to construct the best service for you as well as to write (if needed) a tribute that will a life-story to remember and cherish.

My promise is to make your time in chapel, by the graveside, or at your memorial warm and embracing. To make this moment of closure feel inclusive for everyone and to make room for people to say goodbye in the way they want through moments of individual reflection.

It was a tough occasion to get through, but you held things together beautifully
